About the Workshop

An annual workshop for development economics research

The 3rd edition of the Development Economics Workshop will take place on July 9–10, 2026 in Saint-Étienne, France. This workshop combines poster sessions and oral presentations, fostering exchanges between senior and junior researchers in development economics.

The poster session is designed to give young researchers the opportunity to present their ongoing work, receive substantive feedback, and interact with participants in a collegial and stimulating environment.

We welcome submissions in all areas of development economics. Preference will be given to complete papers. There is no registration fee.

Call for Papers

We invite PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to submit a paper for the poster session.

The cover page must include the paper title, authors, affiliations, abstract, and contact information. Unless otherwise indicated, the applicant is assumed to be the presenter.
